This Privacy Policy explains how Claim Saathi Technologies Private Limited (CIN U62090MR2026PTC477714) ("HomeBuyerSaathi", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, stores and protects your personal data when you use our website and services (the "Service"), and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and other applicable Indian law. We are the "Data Fiduciary" for the personal data we process about you. We are buyer-side and never sell your data.
1. Personal data we collect
- Account & contact data — your mobile number (used to sign in), email address, and name if you provide it.
- Case & property data you enter — the project, builder, RERA number, dates, payments and case details you input to use the tools.
- Documents you upload — e.g. agreements, receipts, allotment letters and other files you store in your private Document Vault or submit for analysis.
- Payment data — if you buy a paid feature, payments are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We receive confirmation of payment; we do not collect or store your full card/bank details.
- Communications — messages you send us (e.g. the contact form) and support correspondence.
- Technical & usage data — limited data such as device/browser information and basic, privacy-respecting analytics needed to run and improve the Service.
2. How and why we use your data (purposes)
We process your personal data to: create and secure your account; run the tools and reports you request; store your case so it follows you across your devices; read and analyse documents you submit for a feature; send you service notifications and alerts you opt into; process payments for paid features; respond to your enquiries and provide support; maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with legal obligations. We rely on your consent as the basis for processing, and on legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act (such as fulfilling a service you request). We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your case details with builders or brokers.
3. Your consent, and how to withdraw it
By creating an account and using the Service, you consent to the processing described here. Your consent is voluntary and you may withdraw it at any time — by turning off optional alerts, deleting specific data, or deleting your account (see Section 8). Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and may mean parts of the Service can no longer function for you.
4. Who we share your data with (Data Processors)
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contractual and security obligations, solely to run the Service:
- Supabase — database, authentication and encrypted document storage.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — document text-extraction (Textract) and transactional email (SES).
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI analysis of documents/text you submit for a feature. Content sent to the API is not used to train its models.
- Razorpay — payment processing for paid features.
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business / Cloud API) — sending alerts you opt into over WhatsApp.
- Vercel — website hosting and content delivery.
We may also disclose data where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a public authority.
5. Document and AI processing
Documents and text you submit for verification or analysis are processed by automated systems (OCR and AI models) solely to provide the specific feature you asked for. Temporary copies created for processing are deleted after use, and content sent to our AI provider is not used to train its models. Our reports and risk scores are interpretive aids built from public MahaRERA data and your inputs — not legal, financial or investment advice, and not a verdict on any promoter.
6. Where your data is stored & international transfers
Your data is stored with the providers listed above. Some of them may store or process data on servers located outside India. Where that happens, we rely on those providers' security and contractual safeguards, and we transfer data only as permitted under applicable Indian law.
7. Data retention
We keep your personal data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service. Certain records (for example, invoices or payment records) may be retained for longer where the law requires it. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it. You can delete most data yourself at any time.
8. Your rights under the DPDP Act
As a Data Principal, you have the right to:
- Access — obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
- Correction & updation — correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data (you can edit your details in the dashboard, or write to us).
- Erasure — delete your account and personal data. Use Account & privacy in your dashboard, or email us and we will action it.
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint about how your data is handled (see Section 9).
- Nomination — nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
To exercise any right, email support@homebuyersaathi.com. We will respond within the timelines required by law.

11. Children
The Service is intended for adults (home buyers) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
